Our platform is built to provide an educational and safe experience for everyone, especially K-12 students, teachers, and academic researchers.
Information for Schools, Teachers & IT Administrators
GeoGnos is widely used across US elementary, middle, and high schools as well as colleges for geography, social studies, AP European History, AP Human Geography, and Model UN studies.
1. Zero Student PII Policy
- No User Accounts: Students never log in, create accounts, or provide email addresses, names, student IDs, or passwords.
- No Form Submissions or Uploads: Students cannot submit comments, upload media, or transmit personal information.
- 100% Ad-Free: GeoGnos contains zero commercial advertisements. No behavioral profiling, remarketing pixels, or third-party ad networks exist on this platform.
- No Student Data Privacy Agreement (DPA) Required: Because GeoGnos does not collect, store, or process any Personally Identifiable Information (PII), school districts can safely authorize classroom use under COPPA and FERPA without requiring a custom vendor data-sharing agreement.
2. Verified Technical Analytics Configuration
GeoGnos utilizes basic Google Analytics 4 (GA4) telemetry solely to understand aggregate page popularity and geographic reach. To guarantee student safety at the code level, our telemetry runs with the following strict technical parameters:

- Local Storage: We use your browser’s local storage solely to save your local UI preferences (such as Dark/Light theme). This data never leaves your device.
- Cloudflare: Anonymous network-level traffic statistics are processed by our edge infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) strictly for operational health, DDoS defense, and security monitoring.
